Introduction & Overview (0:00-0:45)
0:00-0:45: “Hello, hello. Welcome to another training video. Uh, today we’re gonna talk specifically on the requirements you need to have set up to receive your machine. And we’re talking mostly about the forklift requirements. Um, there’s really two main ways to receive your machine, and that is one, having it shipped to you. Uh, which is the most common most people use that method is just having shipped in a big crate and then you’ll have to unload it off the truck, uh, in order to get it into your shop. The second method has to do with you picking up the machine here at our facility yourself. And so if you do want to perform that second method, you’ll need to actually contact, um, customer service at 8 0 1 4 9 1 0 0 1 0, okay?”
Pickup Method Details (0:45-1:24)
0:41-1:25: “8 0 1 4 9 1 0 0 1 0, okay? And just dial customer service. And there, uh, you can talk with them about rear, um, arranging the process of picking it up if that’s what you want to do. That requires a few requirements and timing, um, to make sure that takes place correctly. So get with that team if you want to perform that method. But traditionally, the machine is normally going to be shipped to your facility regardless of which method that you’re using. The machine will need to be offloaded, you know, from the truck or trailer at your facility. So you’re gonna need some forklift requirements to get it off of the off of the truck. So that’s what we have here in a support document is we’ve, uh, created a kind of a spreadsheet based on each machine,”
Forklift Requirements (1:24-2:00)
1:22-2:00: “uh, created a kind of a spreadsheet based on each machine, the footprint, the weight, and the, the forklift requirements in order to move each machine platform and either and even fork lengths, um, based on how you want to move the machine. So if we look here as an example, if you go download that in the download link right below this video, we can see here in the Maverick four by eight as an example, gives us a foot footprint. So we have at least a general idea of the size of the crate. Um, but that’s gonna require a forklift weight of 5,000 pounds. It can always be a bigger forklift if necessary, but that’s what we recommend. And if you’re gonna lift the crate from the end, which is”
Machine Specifications & Support Document (2:00-2:54)
1:57-2:54: “And if you’re gonna lift the crate from the end, which is how we lay out the crates as we have the slots only from one end to lift, um, it can be done with four foot forks. Uh, you can obviously lose, use longer if you want to, but, uh, that’s the minimum requirements that we need to move the crate. We also have specifications here if you’re moving the machine outside of the crate. We’ll get in, get into greater detail on that in another video when we talk about, again, uh, getting the machine hooked up in your shop after it’s been delivered. Uh, but there’s two scenarios whether if you’re loading it from the side or from the end, just the machine will determine different lengths of forks based on the machine platform that you have. All of that is here in the support document. So, uh, feel free to take a look at that to make preparations accordingly. Um, but download that right below the video and you should have everything you need to either order and rent a forklift or make sure that your current forklift that you have has the re um, meets the necessary requirements to lift and move the crate”
Additional Information & Conclusion (2:54-3:00)
2:51-3:00: “meets the necessary requirements to lift and move the crate and the machine, um, in your shop, on your facility. So thank you much and we’ll see you guys in the next video.”
