Introduction & Supply Lists (0:00-1:15)

0:01-1:13: “Hello. Hello. Welcome back to another training video. Today we’re gonna talk about, um, necessary and recommended supply lists. Uh, before your CNC machine arrives there, you’re gonna need to have, um, in order to again, operate, maintain and, and just use the equipment on a day-to-day basis. Now, I’ve created two different lists. I have a, an essential supply list. These are the things that you, you’re going to want to have before the machine comes. And then we have what’s called a recommended supply list. And these are items that only fit certain situations or applications that you, that you’re doing with the machine. And that doesn’t, everybody doesn’t fall under that category, so that’s why I put ’em under a recommended category. Um, and you can look into these and we’ll also bring up the recommended sources throughout the training when we’re talking about certain, certain applications or situations. Okay. Um, regardless, we have both of these supply lists, uh, listed underneath this video below this video. You can click and download on the download link below. Um, but I do want to go over in a little bit greater detail, the essential supply checklist, just so you’re aware of what it is, why we’re using it, um, and again, answer any questions pertaining to those items.”

Essential Supply Checklist Details (1:15-3:26)

1:15-3:27: “The first one on this list is the dedicated computer for your CAD cam software. Uh, and we actually went into that in a little bit greater detail in the previous video when we talked about setting up your wifi and internet access within your shop, specifically for, again, your dedicated computer and for your machine. Um, but we do have a review here of those minimum requirements for your PC computer, um, if you need them. So that is listed there just in case. The next item is the Dust Boot, specifically for auto and manual tool change systems. Now, we did have a dedicated video that talked about the requirements for dust collection in order to hook up to a dust boot in your shop. But here I just want to reemphasize that there’s two types of dust boots and we have the resource, um, to get the manual tool change dust boot. So, um, that’s, that’s all this is tying to ’cause the auto tool change Dust boot we supply with your machine, um, because it has the pneumatics built in to automatically open and close the brushes during that auto tool change sequence. Whereas for manual tool change, we have a third party dust boot of resource for you guys. Um, and that again, you’ll just order that and then you’ll attach that to your spindle head and we’ll show you how that’s done when we get into actually connecting up the dust collection, um, to your machine. So the next one is leveling pads. Now, if when your machine comes in, there’s two advantages of of leveling pads. Uh, first one is obviously to get the machine level if your floor is not perfectly flat. Um, and then the second one is to greatly dampen the noise. And so if you just set your frame directly on a concrete floor, um, all those vibrations, anything like that just amplify in, in a concrete floor platform. So, uh, you can get dampening pads or leveling pads, um, to help with those situations, um, based on what On your shop setup. Okay, next one here is cutters. So there’s a lot of different cutters that are out there that you’re gonna be using with your C NNC platform. The list that we have here for cutters are going to make sure that you can produce all of the parts and projects that we’re gonna be covering in these first two course trainings. And so in this first training course that you’re learning now we’re gonna be having what are called our fast start sample parts. Um, whereas course number two is gonna have”

Cutters, Collets, and Fixturing (3:26-5:06)

3:25-5:06: “Um, whereas course number two is gonna have building table fixtures and also onboard CNC projects. Um, so to cover both course one and course two, um, I’ve supplied all of the cutters for both of those, for both of those courses so that, again, you get everything covered of what we’re gonna be talking about. Um, here upcoming in the training. Next is Colts. Now we did, um, supply some base collets with the machine. Um, but it is recommended that you still get additional Colts to accommodate different shank sizes for manual tool change. Uh, ’cause we supply just one half inch, uh, call it with manual tool change spindles. And so you’re gonna need some additional sizes. And we have the links and resources on this list. And then the auto tool change, we, we supply a call it, um, uh, set that ranges, you know, over sizes, but it’s nice to have additional, um, call. Its of the same size, specifically half inch and quarter inch size call. Its, so we have links for both of those right here, um, in the essential supply list checklist. Um, next one has to do with, um, fixturing and holding down your parts. And that is double stick tape. So at this time when you are prepping your shop, you haven’t received your machine yet. And when you first receive your machine, we’re not gonna have every type of table fixture prebuilt. Um, that’s why we give you the files to customize and to lay out your table fixtures, how you want the machine to be based on the projects and applications that you wanna perform with the machine. So to get you started without having every type of table fixture to hold down your parts, uh, double stick tape is a really simple solution, um, to again, just hold down a part for a one time process. And we can do that for specifically our fast start sample components that we’re gonna be doing later on during this training.”

Maintenance Supplies & Conclusion (5:06-6:01)

5:05-6:01: “later on during this training. Uh, so we have the link there, um, in the document. The next items are the grease, gun and grease. And these are only used for specific machines. And so if you have a Maverick three by five, you will not need these two items to properly maintain your system. Um, we need to lubricate the linear bearings, um, for the Maverick four by four, four by eight, as well as the Renegade five by 10 and Rogue CNC systems. All of those have profile bearings and we’re gonna need a grease gun and grease. Um, so the grease gun that we have listed on here has a locking tip, so it makes it really easy to apply, um, the grease into those dirt fittings on the machine. And then the grease that we require for those platforms is a very specific grease from Shell Gaddis, um, or from Shell, and it’s a shell gaddis grease is what they call it. So you Had the, the links for both of those right here. Um, to maintain the machine, the last ones have to do”
