Roby1 Mock up

The Roby1 is engineered as a true multi-workstation CNC woodworking system, combining versatility, accuracy, and durability in a single space-efficient platform. The result is more work completed in-house, fewer setups, reduced outsourcing, and a faster return on investment without increasing floor space or headcount.

Why Roby1?

Most CNC machines force compromises:multiple setups, secondary machines, or outsourced operations to complete complex work. Roby1 Eliminates those tradeoffs by integrating three purpose-built CNC workstations into one unified system.

What that means for your shop:

  • Less setup time and material handling
  • Higher daily throughput with the same labor
  • Fewer secondary machines to buy, maintain and learn
  • More high-margin custom work completed in-house

Designed to function as multiple machines in one, making it a smarter investment in both capability and profitability

One Machine. Three Dedicated Workstations.

Horizontal Table Workstation

Workspace: 27″ x 60″ x 5″

Designed for everyday CNC production and detail work, the horizontal table is ideal for:

  • Flat panels and sheet goods
  • Precision routing
  • Decorative carving and inlays
  • Detailed surface machining with repeatable accuracy

*Images of pre-production unit, final product may vary

This workstation delivers the rigidity and consistency required for both production and one-off custom work

Rotary Milling & Turning Center

*Images of pre-production unit, final product may vary

Capacity: 10.4″ diameter x 52″ length

The integrated rotary workstation enables:

  • True CNC turning
  • Tapered components
  • Complex spindles, columns, and architectural elements

These Capabilities typically require a dedicated CNC lathe. Roby1 delivers them in the same footprint and control system without compromise.

Vertical Joinery System

Workspace: 20″ x 34″ x 6″

Purpose-built for high-end furniture and complex assemblies, the vertical joinery workstation allows you to produce:

  • Compound angle joints
  • Precision furniture joinery
  • Assemblies that are difficult, time-consuming, or impractical using traditional machines

*Images of pre-production unit, final product may vary

This System reduces manual layout and fitting time while improving repeatability and finished quality

Designed for Flexibility and Higher Margins

The Roby1 allows shops to add advanced joinery, decorative embellishments, complex spindles, and fine detail work that often require muliple specialized machines or outsourced services.

By bringing these processes in house, shops can:

  • Eliminate outsourcing costs and delays
  • Respond faster to custom requests
  • Expand creative capability without expanding equipment count

For many shops, modest gains in efficiency and billable work can offset a significant portion of the machine’s cost within the first year.

Built for a Lifetime of Use

Roby1 is built on a rugged, welded steel fram with a durable powder-coated finish. Unlike bolt-together CNC frames that can flex or lose accuracy over time it delivers:

  • Superior rigidity
  • Consistent long-term accuracy
  • Reduced scrap and rework
  • Lower maintenance and downtime
  • PC based Mach3 motion controller

This durability protects your investment and improves total cost of ownership over decades of real-world use.

Made and Supported in the USA

Like all Legacy CNC systems, Roby1 is manufactured and supported in the United States backed by long-term parts availability, knowledgeable technical support, and a company committed to supporting your shop for the long haul.

The Evolution of a Proven Platform

Roby1 Represents the next step forward in Legacy CNC’s lineup, building on the success of the Maverick 3×5 while delivering greater capability, flexibility, and long-term value. It is designed for shops that want to do more, work smarter, and invest in equipment that pays for itself over time.
