This router bit is designed primarily for the milling of casings and crown moldings using the flat stock milling characteristics that are designed into Legacy's ornamental mills.

A unique application for using this bit, however, is demonstrated in lesson 3 of Legacy's online "4-Poster Bed 1" class that is part of the Legacy Woodworking Academy's curriculum. A vertically mounted template was used to create this unique contour design.
