This Plunge Button Bit was designed specifically to be used on Legacy's ornamental mills.

It provides a way by which a 1/2" diameter button design can be milled on dentile style moldings.

It can be used to create independent button accents or button accents in a series or group.

It can also be used to create a "relief carving" effect after the initial buttons are milled by keeping the plunge depth the same and then mill away all of the material in-between as well as around the perimeter of the buttons.

Note: The area of the material to be removed is, of course, up to the discretion of the operator.
