"Although an armature, it (the Legacy Ornamental Mill) has changed the way I approach woodworking."
The following is Alan's story in his own words. "I am a 71 year old retired engineer, I started woodturning just before I retired just over 6 years ago. I live in Quarry Bank, a small town in the Black Country about 10 miles west of Birmingham here in the U.K. I started turning the usual things , simple bowls and vessels and tried to enhance them a little. About that time I joined our local woodturning club The Black Country Woodturners and was introduced to Tony Palmer a owner of a Legacy Mill , He invited me to his workshop and gave me a demonstration on his Legacy. I got in touch with Roger (Legacy's UK rep) and ordered the not then released REVO . I took delivery November 2006. I try to make most of the projects you (Legacy Woodworking Academy) publish. The stand was just one of them. Although an armature, it has changed the way I approach woodworking."
